So poignant, so true. Whoever thought of this gets a big ol' clap on the back and hearty handshake. Who'd have thought that by removing Garfield from Garfield, you end (up with a much stronger, truer piece?

It leads one to think about what other properties could benefit from a "star-ectomy."

Moonwalker without Michael?

The Goonies without any of those pesky kids?

The entire Die Hard quadrilogy without John Maclean.

It does make one think.
